A Healthy Start-

Its hard to know where to start when you are trying to lose weight or plan a healthy

lifestyle. We gave found that a great place to start is to get to know your food and your

habits. Food is made up of calories, yes, but its also made up of protein, carbs, fats, vitamins,

minerals and then theres salt and sugar. If you want to eat in a healthier way you have to learn

what your eating and what it turns into when it gets into your body.

Its important to understand the function of your body also, at least in basic ways. For instance,

99% of everything you eat goes through your liver. And what goes into your colon and intestines

can be absorbed into the body for the good and for the bad. Your veins carry your blood throughout

your body and can become filled with substances that can create damage to your body.

Your body needs good foods and it has to filter out the bad. Learning to eat much less of the bad and

much more of the good will start you on a path to a healthier lifestyle.
